Artwork & Logo Policy

Logo Files, Artwork Checks, Print Colours & Embroidery Setup

Please read our artwork and logo policy before placing an order for custom printed workwear, embroidered uniforms or personalised garments.

Important Information

Customers are responsible for supplying clear artwork, correct spelling, accurate logo files and the correct customisation details before production begins.

We will always try to help prepare artwork where possible, but the final order details must be checked carefully by the customer before approval or production.

Supplying Logo Files

Please provide the best quality logo file available when placing your order or requesting a quote.

Suitable file types may include PDF, SVG, AI, EPS, PNG or high-quality JPEG files. Low-resolution images, screenshots, photos of logos or small web images may not produce the best result.

Artwork Quality

Print and embroidery results depend on the quality of the artwork supplied. Poor-quality files may lead to reduced detail, less accurate edges, colour differences or limitations during production.

If artwork needs to be redrawn, cleaned, converted or adjusted, we will let you know where possible. Extra artwork preparation charges may apply depending on the work required.

Customer Responsibility

Customers are responsible for checking all order details, including logo choice, spelling, names, numbers, garment colours, sizes, print or embroidery positions and any special instructions.

Once artwork, spelling or order details have been approved and production has started, changes may not be possible.

Proofs and Visual Mockups

Where a proof, visual mockup or layout preview is provided, it is intended to help confirm the general design, placement and order details.

Mockups are a guide only. Final size, colour, thread finish and placement may vary slightly depending on garment style, garment size, fabric type and production method.

Print Colours

We aim to match colours as closely as possible, but exact colour matching cannot always be guaranteed.

Colours may appear differently on screens compared with finished garments. Print colour can also vary depending on garment colour, fabric type, artwork quality and print method.

Embroidery Colours and Thread

Embroidery uses thread colours, so exact colour matching to a screen image, print file or brand colour may not always be possible.

We will choose the closest suitable thread colours unless specific embroidery thread requirements have been agreed before production.

Embroidery Digitising and Logo Setup

New embroidery logos usually require digitising before they can be stitched onto garments. This setup process converts your logo into an embroidery file suitable for production.

Logo setup or digitising fees may apply. These fees cover preparation of the embroidery file and are separate from the garment and embroidery price.

The embroidery logo setup fee is paid once for each new logo. Once your logo has been set up and saved by KMVT Workwear, you do not need to pay the same setup fee again for future repeat orders using that same logo.

Logo Placement and Size

Logo placement and size may vary slightly between garments, sizes and fabric types.

Standard positions may include left chest, right chest, back and sleeve areas, depending on the garment and customisation selected. Some garments may have limitations because of seams, pockets, zips, panels or fabric shape.

Repeated Orders

For repeat orders, we will aim to use the same logo setup, artwork or production method where suitable.

Slight differences may still occur if garment styles, colours, fabric types, supplier batches, artwork files or production methods change between orders.

Copyright and Permission to Use Artwork

By supplying artwork, logos, names, images or designs, the customer confirms they have permission to use them for printing, embroidery or customisation.

KMVT Workwear is not responsible for copyright, trademark or ownership issues relating to artwork supplied by the customer.

Changes After Approval

If you need to change artwork, spelling, logo placement or order details, please contact us as soon as possible.

If production has already started, changes may not be possible. If changes can still be made, extra costs or delays may apply.
