Hi-Vis Workwear

Explore our range of personalised hi-vis workwear for construction teams, road crews, warehouse staff, delivery drivers, tradespeople, site workers and businesses that need practical clothing designed to improve wearer visibility.

KmvT Design supplies hi-vis vests, polo shirts, T-shirts, sweatshirts, hoodies, jackets and other garments in a range of colours, sizes and protection levels. Selected products can be professionally personalised with printing, embroidery or both, depending on the fabric, reflective tape layout and garment construction.

Hi-vis standards and performance classes vary between products, so the certification shown on each individual product page should always be checked against your workplace risk assessment and site requirements. Whether you need one personalised garment or branded hi-vis clothing for a whole team, automatic quantity discounts start from 4 items of the same product, with available colours and sizes combined. Different product models do not count towards the same discount threshold. We also offer local collection from Crawley and reliable UK-wide delivery.

Why choose personalised hi-vis workwear?

Personalised hi-vis workwear helps teams remain visible while also displaying a consistent company identity. It is commonly used by construction workers, road crews, delivery drivers, warehouse staff, event teams, tradespeople and employees working around vehicles or machinery.

Adding your company logo can make staff easier to identify on site and present a more professional appearance. However, branding should only be applied in suitable positions so that reflective tape, fluorescent material and required garment markings remain unobstructed.

Choosing the correct hi-vis garment

The right garment depends on the work being carried out, the surrounding environment, lighting conditions, traffic speed, weather and the amount of time the wearer is exposed to risk.

Lightweight vests may be suitable for certain indoor, warehouse or short-duration tasks, while hi-vis polo shirts, sweatshirts and hoodies provide more coverage and comfort for regular wear. Jackets and other outerwear may be required where warmth or weather protection is also needed.

Understanding hi-vis standards and classes

Not every hi-vis garment provides the same level of protection. Certified garments may be classified according to the amount and arrangement of fluorescent background material and retroreflective tape.

The individual product specification should always be checked for its stated certification and class. The correct garment must be chosen according to your employer's risk assessment, workplace rules and any site-specific requirements.

Does every hi-vis product meet EN ISO 20471?

No. Some garments may be certified to EN ISO 20471 for high-risk situations, while other visibility products may be intended for different or lower-risk uses. Certification can also vary by garment colour, size or design.

Do not rely on the category name alone. Always check the certification stated on the individual product page and garment label before purchasing clothing for a regulated workplace or specific safety requirement.

Printing or embroidery on hi-vis workwear?

Many hi-vis garments can be printed, making this a practical option for company logos, names, contact details and larger back designs. Embroidery may also be available on selected garments where the fabric and construction are suitable.

Some products support printing only, some embroidery only and others support both methods. Available options are shown on each product page.

Can personalisation affect hi-vis performance?

Branding must not cover reflective tape, required fluorescent areas, certification labels or other essential garment features. Large logos or unsuitable placements may reduce the visible background area or interfere with the intended design of the garment.

For this reason, available customisation positions can vary between products. We only offer positions that are suitable for the individual garment, but the purchaser remains responsible for confirming that the finished clothing meets their workplace and risk-assessment requirements.

Choosing the correct logo position

The left or right chest is commonly used for smaller company logos where sufficient clear space is available. Larger printed branding may be positioned on the back, provided it does not obstruct reflective tape or reduce essential visible areas.

Sleeve branding may be available on selected garments, but seams, tape placement, pockets and certification requirements can restrict the available area.

Hi-vis vests, polos, sweatshirts or jackets?

Hi-vis vests are lightweight and easy to wear over other clothing. Polo shirts and T-shirts are useful for warmer conditions, while sweatshirts and hoodies provide additional warmth for cooler workplaces.

Hi-vis jackets offer greater coverage and may also provide wind or rain protection, depending on the individual product specification. Not every jacket is fully waterproof, so weather-performance information should be checked carefully.

Ordering hi-vis workwear for your team

You can mix colours and sizes within the same order where the selected product offers those variations. Choose one colour, add the quantities required for each size, then select another colour and add a different size combination to the same basket.

Automatic quantity discounts start from 4 items of the same hi-vis product. You can combine available colours and sizes of that product to qualify, but different product models do not count towards the same discount threshold. Discounts apply to eligible garments and printing or embroidery, while one-time logo setup fees are excluded.

How long does production take?

Our standard production time is typically 3–7 working days once the necessary order details, artwork and customisation requirements have been confirmed. Larger orders or garments requiring specialist handling may take longer, and we will confirm the expected turnaround where necessary.

Production and delivery

Our normal production time is approximately 3–7 working days after artwork approval. Local collection is available from Crawley, and UK-wide delivery is also available.
