Returns & Refund Policy
Returns, Refunds & Faulty Items for Custom Workwear Orders
This policy explains how returns, refunds and order issues are handled for KMVT Workwear orders, including custom printed workwear, embroidered garments, blank items and customer-supplied garments.
Important information:
- Personalised, printed, embroidered or bespoke items cannot be returned for change of mind
- Non-personalised blank items may be returned within 14 days if unused and in original condition
- Faulty, incorrect or not-as-described items should be reported as soon as possible
- Please contact us before returning any item
- Your statutory rights are not affected
Personalised & Custom-Made Products
Many KMVT Workwear products are made to order and customised to your requirements. This includes garments with printing, embroidery, names, logos, artwork, custom positions or any other personalisation.
Custom or personalised items:
- Cannot be cancelled, returned or exchanged simply because you changed your mind
- Cannot be returned because the wrong size, colour or option was selected by the customer
- Cannot be returned where the approved artwork, spelling, logo position or design has been produced as requested
- May only be returned or refunded if they are faulty, incorrect or not as described
Production may begin shortly after your order is confirmed. Once production has started, changes or cancellations may no longer be possible.
Non-Personalised Blank Items
If you purchase a non-personalised blank item as a consumer, you may cancel and return the item within 14 days of delivery, provided it is unused and returned in its original condition.
Blank item returns:
- You must notify us within 14 days of receiving the goods
- The item must be unused and in its original condition
- Unless agreed otherwise, return postage is your responsibility
- Refunds are issued after we receive the returned goods or proof of return
- A refund may be reduced if the item has been handled beyond what is necessary to inspect it
Faulty, Incorrect or Not-as-Described Items
If you believe your item is faulty, incorrect or not as described, please contact us as soon as possible after discovering the issue. Where possible, faults should be reported within 30 days of delivery.
When reporting an issue, please include:
- Your order number
- Your name and contact details
- A clear description of the issue
- Photographs showing the problem
- Whether the item has been worn
- Whether the item has been washed
Please do not return items without written confirmation from us. We may need to inspect the item before confirming the correct remedy.
Refunds, Replacements & Remedies
If a genuine fault is confirmed, we will provide an appropriate remedy in line with your statutory rights. Depending on the circumstances, this may include a repair, replacement, refund or price reduction.
If a fault is confirmed:
- We will confirm the appropriate remedy after reviewing the issue
- We may offer a repair, replacement, refund or price reduction where applicable
- Reasonable return postage costs may be reimbursed for confirmed faulty items where appropriate
- If the item is inspected and not found to be faulty, it may be returned to you and redelivery costs may apply
What Is Not Considered a Fault
Some small differences are normal with garments, printing and embroidery. These issues do not usually qualify as faults unless the item is otherwise faulty, incorrect or not as described.
The following are not normally treated as faults:
- Minor colour variations between screen images and finished items
- Slight variations in print or embroidery placement
- Natural differences in fabric texture, garment shade or material finish
- Normal wear and tear after use
- Damage caused by incorrect washing, ironing, drying or garment care
- Damage caused after delivery
- An incorrect size selected by the customer where the supplied garment matches the order
- Dissatisfaction with an approved design, artwork, position or personal preference
Customer-Supplied Garments
If you provide your own garments or items for printing, embroidery or customisation, those items are supplied at your own risk. We will take reasonable care, but we cannot guarantee the outcome where the garment itself is unsuitable for the requested work.
Customer-supplied items:
- Are supplied at your own risk
- Must be suitable for the requested print or embroidery process
- May react differently depending on fabric, construction, coating, age or condition
- Are not covered for replacement value unless required by law
- If a confirmed production error is caused by us, our liability is limited as set out in our Terms and Conditions
